My first book that ever got any kind of ‘attention' was Caitlin Riddler makes a wish. It’s a horror/fantasy spoof with a physics buff warding off an intergalactic demon. It’s over-the-top and full of sarcasm (teens!?). But someone liked it enough to offer representation. Someone liked the thing I made up. My story. That felt like me. Those are the stories I write. All bits of me in different genres. Some are funny, some are dead serious. But they’re all me.
